Services at School
Progress Therapy Service works
with school districts in all our regions to provide support providing free
on-site assessments at schools. Our team collaborates with personal of the
school to make curriculum accessible and inclusive, and ensure every child gets
the most out of their education.
Some of the characteristics that could indicate a worrisome situation that you could receive as reports from the teacher are: If you child lines up toys or other objects and gets upset when order is changed. Plays with toys the same way every time. Has obsessive interests. Flaps hands, rocks body, or spins self in circles. Delayed language skills. Delayed movement skills. Delayed cognitive or learning skills. Unusual mood or emotional reactions. Anxiety, stress, or excessive worry. Lack of fear or more fear than expected. Also, If your child’s impulsivity, aggression, inattention or hyperactivity are getting him in trouble with the teacher and classmates, if any of these would happen at school please contact us. Progress Therapy Service will work with you to schedule the screenings on a day and time that is convenient for you. Before arriving, we will send you information for the parents and consent forms to send home.
